We’ve just shipped another release of Windows Live Writer. This ‘Technical Preview’ is chock full of goodness, including some additions to the WLW SDK. If you’re a fan of Writer or have been waiting to check it out, now is the time.
I’ve included a gratuitous picture just to illustrate some of the great new features we’ve included.
Congrats charlete! I just downloaded it. Looks great. I might have to pick up my blogging again.

( Sorry for being to lazy to look for a WLW forum )
Any API or plans for WLW to integrate comment feeds? Like I might want to use it as a blog READER, but then if I'm the kind of bloke who just wants to comment on other people's blogs then that's also "live writing" ... I'm just blogging on your blog instead of mine.

Not a problem. Right now the APIs don't support that, though most platforms still don't support comment consuming/publishing APIs that are useful enough for this. It is a repeated request however, so something that is on our radar....

Awesome work! It's nice to see the best blog posting software out there get even better.

Can you recommend any of the leading blog APIs that would have an available (and reasonably good) "threadable/postable commenting" feature?
I'd suppose the WLW team has studied those APIs more than anyone else.
( not that I need to use them, just anxious to experiment with or just research how these tools are morphing into 'the next level' )

Hi,
is there any plane to deploy a Mac version?
Thanks in advance

Great to see Writer. Will take advantage of it to post my swims across Walden, and my son's progress as he heals from hip surgery.
He ran with Phil Devino, Karen Davis's son, this past year at Concord Carlisle, but didn't get to run much due to a hip problem, but will be back on the course soon.
Hope WLW is a big success. I am testing it on both my MAC and my PC.
