If you haven't yet had the occassion to spend a little time on YouTube, you should. Think 'Flickr' for video (I know, cheesy). A couple of comments about the experience:
1) The Flash Video player provides an incredibly great experience- lightweight, quick loading right in the web page, with excellent streaming of the video. I remember when Macromedia first introduced video to the player and I was skeptical- I was crazy, cause this is great.
2) There are a large number of crappy videos on the site. That said, there are a bunch of great videos too- Lazy Sunday and Just 2 Guyz are great examples of the hilarious stuff that is available these days...
3) Tag based interfaces are awfully limiting. When I decided to search for a video by the band 'Clap Your Hands and Say Yeah', I couldn't quite figure out how to do that (would each of those words be tags?) Or should I search for something like 'Band' 'Clap'? I really wished I had the ability to search video metadata like who the video is of, etc...
All in all, though, this is an excellent site- one that I would add to my list of sites to keep an eye on these days....
